About the People Behind
The Fantasy Football League Professionals
As we head into our fifth year of free fantasy football information, it occurred to us that we really have never told you about the guys and history behind the site.  The guys behind the site have never changed. Jim Brady is the senior writer and editor, Scott Sommers is a full-time writer and John Bradford is our web-guru extraordinaire. There’s one thing in common with the three of these guys, they all love fantasy football.

Another thing you’ll notice about the site is that we continually pimp the fact that we are completely free for our fifth year.  We could probably get away with charging, but there are so few FREE things in this world we want to keep it that way.

The question we always get is, “How do you stay in business without charging?”  The way we stay in business is through the sale of our Draft Day Organizers, our Custom Mini-Helmets and now through our advertising partners (ShowMeTickets.com and BigBoyzToyz.com).  Please take a minute to check these guys out and let them know how you heard about them.  Someday we may have to go to being a pay site, but for the foreseeable future it’s going to stay FREE.

Thanks for visiting time after time or even if it’s your first time through.

Here’s a brief bio on each of us:

Yokohama Geolandar.

Jim Brady – Jim’s sports background is quite extensive.  He was a sports reporter with the Lorain Morning Journal for nearly 15 years, writing the first-ever fantasy football column for the paper for five seasons.  Jim left the paper when the opportunity arose to go into radio at WOBL AM1320 and WDLW AM1380 in Oberlin, Ohio.  Jim has been a color commentator (and a little play-by-play) for three years covering high school sports.  Last year Jim hosted the first-ever fantasy football radio show in Lorain County.  The FFLPros.com Fantasy Football Show returns to the AM1320 airwaves for it’s second season coming live from The Derby in Lorain, OH every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. EDT.

Fantasy Football Experience:  Commissioner of the Lorain County Fantasy Football League (LCFFL) for 16 years.  Usually can be found participating in 2-3 leagues per season.

Scott Sommers – Scott’s career is very much like that of Jim’s.  Scott has been a sports reporter for the Lorain Morning Journal now for eight years and continues to cover local sports to this day.  Scott has also made some pinch-hitting appearances on the airwaves of WOBL and WDLW, but his main radio job is with Jim on the FFLPros.com Fantasy Football Show.  Scott has the uncanny ability to remember the smallest detail about a player and his stats.

Fantasy Football Experience: Member of the LCFFL for 10 years and a constant member in two other leagues year after year.

John Bradford – John is the guy behind the scenes that keeps everything running smooth on the site.  John has a background in music, but his love for computers took over and he is by far the biggest computer geek of the bunch.  He’s there every week to make sure the reports are posted on time and that the links go where they should.  John will begin contributing to the weekly report schedule in 2004, making him even more valuable to the best free fantasy football site in the universe.
